The Huon Valley Council have installed a canoe launch site at Helen St. on the Huon River near Ranelagh.

This is a great place to launch a canoe or kayak for a day’s fishing on the river or, for the more adventurous, launch at Judbury and exit at Helen St. a downstream paddle of approximately 9km.
