Although closed to angling, Four Springs Lake is open to other water based activities.

In April, we reported that testing had revealed blue green algae might be present in Four Spring Lake.

We are now happy to report that more recent testing has given the all clear.  The Meander Valley Council are removing the warning signs and it's all systems go – except for angling.  Swim or kayak or do other water-based activities but you will need to wait for the opening of the new season on Saturday 4 August before you can fish.
