Tyenna River Willow Control Program Planting day 6 June

Derwent Catchment Project have been working with Inland Fisheries Service, Anglers Alliance Tasmania and the landholder of Lanoma Estate to develop a 5-year plan for willow control along the Tyenna River.

Our next field day is 6 June. We will be planting native trees and shrubs on Lanoma Estate. These are to provide shade in preparation for the removal of large willows in a section of river with little native cover.
