Carp caught!

None
Could this be the last carp?

The relentless search to catch any remaining carp in Lake Sorell continues. Recent rain events, a fast-rising water level and the sunny weather warming the water are the perfect conditions to get the carp moving. Yesterday using a combination of the electro-fishing boat and trammel nets a 2.3 kg female carp was caught on the western side of the lake in an area known for carp to like at this time of year.

High waters levels in the lake and a wet forecast will make carp fishing challenging with every effort being made to prevent a spawning and catch any remaining carp. It is make or break time. Hold on and watch what happens in the coming months.
