Miena is gearing up for a big weekend in the middle of October with the return of the Great Lake Tie In – an event that brings together fly tyers to show off their skills in this intricate art. The Great Lake Tie in will be on Saturday 15 October.

As part of the weekend’s events Trout Guides and Lodges Tasmania have arranged for Steve and Jo Starling to host a dinner at The Central Highlands Lodge on Friday 14 October.

Steve and Jo are two of the country’s most influential and experienced fishers and story tellers. Their “TALES OF SCALES” presentation is an event that should not be missed.  Not only will they share their valuable perspectives on fishing in Australia, but you will also have an opportunity to win a share of more than $1,000 worth of prizes from businesses associated with trout fishing in Tasmania.

The event which includes a 2 course meal is at 6:30 for a 7:00 start on Friday 14 October and will cost you $45.
