As well as regular updates, this website includes information about the species of blue-green algae present, recommendations for recreational activity at Woods Lake, and the management measures being implemented by Hydro Tasmania.

The blue-green algae population continues to persist into July, but recent inflows and low temperatures may reduce cell numbers temporarily. We expect the population may reduce and then re-emerge in summer.
