The IFS has recently completed an upgrade of the parking, access tracks and launching areas on both sides of the causeway at Curries River Reservoir.

With good water levels after recent rain and  stockings of both brown and rainbow trout over winter, Curries is one of the more popular early season waters.

Fishing from the shore, kayaks and electric powered boats is popular.
