Background
This is a small lagoon on the Liawenee moor just north of Miena. Whilst all methods of fishing are permitted, the shallow nature of this water means it is really only suitable for fly fishing. The IFS stock the lagoon with around 50 adult brown trout each season. There is a bag limit of 2 fish per day with minimum size of 400 mm and only one fish over 500 mm.
Recreational Fish Management
Camerons Lagoon is managed as a Wild Trout Fishery. There is no natural recruitment therefore annual stocking of wild brown trout by the Inland Fisheries Service maintains populations.
