Background
The head waters of this river commence at Lake Crescent. The river flows into the River Derwent at Meadowbank Lake after passing through the townships of Bothwell and Hamilton. The best fishing are the stretches just north of Bothwell and downstream from Lake Crescent for a few kilometres.
