Contractors today removed the logs that have been obstructing the boat ramps at Lake Echo, Large Bay and Middle Echo, since the opening of the season.

The logs have been placed in the camping areas adjacent to the ramps to be used by campers for firewood.

IFS would like to thank Hydro Tasmania for their support and assistance to get the ramps reopened.

Boaters are reminded to be aware of submerged and floating logs in the lake due to recent rises in lake level.
