Meander Valley Council have advised that blue green algae may be present in Four Springs Lake. Further sampling will be undertaken to identify if the algae is toxic.

As a precaution anglers should not drink from the lake, avoid unnecessary contact with the water and wash and cook fish thoroughly before consumption.
