Rainbow trout released into Craigbourne Dam

None

Yesterday, 757 rainbow trout were released into Craigbourne Dam. The fish averaged 1.3kg but some weighed up to 2kg. You can see how to get there and read the rules in the Craigbourne Dam Anglers Access brochure.

One of the two tagged brown trout that were released this season into Craigbourne Dam has been caught as part of the Tasmanian Tagged Trout Promotion. There are 43 tagged fish, worth $2000 each, still to be be caught in waters around the State.

We would like to thank the Huon Aquaculture Group for the donation of rainbow trout to the public fishery. Stay tuned as more fish will be released in coming days.
