Tooms Lake camp ground and toilet

The Northern Midland Council and Inland Fisheries Service have recently completed upgrading the Tooms Lake camp ground. The $120,000 project was funded by the Recreational Camping and Fishing Facilities Program, Inland Fisheries Service and Northern Midlands Council and project managed by Council.

The project includes a new parking area for boat trailers, a foreshore walking path from the boat ramp to the campground, levelled and gravelled camp sites and access tracks, site signage and a new unisex toilet near the dam wall.

With excellent lake levels and improving water clarity Tooms Lake is anticipated to fish well until the end of the season and well worth a visit in spring.
