New members appointed to the Inland Fisheries Advisory Council

The Inland Fisheries Service is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the Inland Fisheries Advisory Council (IFAC).
The new members will join current members for a period of four years who are appointed for their practical knowledge, industry, commercial and technical expertise in inland fisheries.
Julianne Stevens returns for her second term as a northern angling representative, and Andy Taylor fills the vacancy for a person with expertise in conservation of freshwater ecosystems.
Andrew Reed fills the vacancy for the southern angling representative, and Fiona Dewar fills the vacancy for a person with expertise in tourism relating to inland fisheries.
Dr Liza Fallon has been appointed Chair for a one-year term. Dr Fallon is a current member of IFAC with a strong background in freshwater ecosystems, planning and policy.
