This week the Inland Fisheries Service conducted works at Guide Dam to improve the track that provides fishing access to the Eastern side of the dam. Works included track clearing along with the installation of track markers.  

Guide Dam is an underrated fishery that supports healthy populations of wild brown and rainbow trout. Early season fishing is a highlight when the dam is full and all methods are successful.
