Fuel Reduction Burn Tooms Lake - Tooms Lake Conservation Area

Weather permitting, (and if burn conditions are suitable), the Parks and Wildlife Service will be conducting a fuel reduction burn on Tuesday 23 April 2024 at Tooms Lake. This work is part of the state-wide Fuel Reduction Program which is aimed at reducing the bushfire risk to help protect lives and communities. The total burn area is approximately 602 ha and is likely to take 1-2 days to complete. The public is asked to remain well out of the burn site which will generate flames, smoke and ash.
