Predicted high flows - Derwent Catchment
With the high rainfall Hydro Tasmania are expecting large flows and spill at some locations in the upper and lower Derwent from Sunday and into next week, as well as down the King River and in the Mersey Forth.
Please remain cautious near major waterways and lakes including the King River, and to not recreate or camp at the following sites until further notice:
- Lake Catagunya boat ramp
- Lake Repulse boat ramp
- Cluny Lagoon boat ramp
- Meadowbank Lake boat ramp
- Lake Rowallan boat ramp and camp ground
- Lake Parangana boat ramp and campground
- Lake Echo Dam, Middle, and Large Bay boat ramps
- Dee Lagoon Spillway, Brownie Bay, and Paton Bay campgrounds and boat ramps
- Bronte Lagoon Eastern Shore, Shack Site, and Bronte Lagoon campgrounds and boat ramps
- Bradys Lake Tunnel Bay, Whitewater Point Extension, South, and Woodwards Canal campgrounds and boat ramps
- Lake Binney North Shore, Camp Corner, and Lake Binney campgrounds and boat ramps
- Tungatinah Lagoon and Tungatinah Lagoon Wattles campground and boat ramps
- Tarraleah No. 1 Pond day use area
- Wayatinah Lagoon boat ramp and day use area
- Lake King William boat ramp
- Pine Tier Lagoon boat ramp and campgrounds
- Laughing Jack Lagoon boat ramp and campground
