Hydro Tasmania have advised that unexpected road works are currently impacting the Lake Plimsoll boat ramp and parking area.

According to the alert there is currently no parking available at the ramp, although smaller vehicles and boats may be able to get through.

Hydro Tasmania is working to get this situation resolved as soon as possible.

As further updates become available, we will publish them here on our website.

Until the works are completed, boating anglers may be better advised to visit other nearby waters including Lake Burbury and Lake Mackintosh.

As a reminder, Lake Rosebery remains closed to public access to facilitate the ongoing oil spill clean-up.
