What's my reference number?

Either of these can be used:

Angler number or licence number — Printed on the back of your IFS-issued licence card (circled below).
Payment reference number — Printed on your IFS-issued licence renewal notice.

What are angler accounts for?

With an angler account you can:

View your current licence status
Buy, renew or upgrade your angling licence
Update your contact details
Order replacement licence cards
Receive renewal notices by email
Keep a diary of your trips and catches

For the purpose of issuing an Angling Licence and to discharge its functions under the Inland Fisheries Act 1995, the Service is required to collect personal information.

Under the Personal Information Protection Act 2004, the Service is the custodian of that information and the collection, use and disclosure of information is governed by that Act. For more details read the Privacy Statement.
