Bronte Lagoon Ramp completed
IFS and MAST are pleased to advise that the new boat ramp and pontoon at Bronte Lagoon was completed on Friday 30 March. Construction of the ramp itself and associated earthworks were completed during low water levels throughout March.
Refilling of the lagoon and a return to normal operating water level was achieved on Friday 30 March, enabling the installation of the floating pontoon and gangway.
This is the first facility of its kind on a recognized trout fishing water on the Central Plateau and it is hoped the facility will provide benefits for anglers in particular easy launching, access for boarding and alighting boats and additional parking.
IFS would appreciate feedback from anglers on their experiences using this new facility to assist with planning future facility upgrades.
