In response to the recent oil spill, Hydro Tasmania have advised that the Prohibited Area declaration for Lake Rosebery has been extended until 1159 hours on Friday 21 February 2025 unless cancelled sooner.

The closure has been extended to facilitate the ongoing clean up operations.
