Today (14 November 2014) the IFS stocked 300 Atlantic salmon into Lake Kara. The fish were kindly donated by SALTAS from their Wayatinah hatchery. These fish are all males and average 3 kilograms. Anglers are reminded that the bag limit of all species combined at Lake Kara is now five fish with only two fish over 500 mm length permitted to be taken. It is important to note that the majority of these fish will be over 500 mm in length.
