The Devonport Fly Fishing Club with the support of Peter Hayes, a master fly fishing instructor, will be on hand at Trout Weekend 2015 to give demonstrations, free lessons and tips to help you improve your fly and lure casting skills. This is a great opportunity – the things you learn may just help you catch that trophy fish!

The Devonport Club will be promoting its Fly Fishing School that is held at Bronte Lagoon each year. You can find out more about this event by talking with club members at Trout Weekend.

Peter Hayes is a 10-time Australian Casting Champion and has twice represented Australia at the World Championships. In one event, Peter cast a single-handed fly rod an incredible 74 metres!
