The Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service have advised us that access to Brushy Lagoon has been closed due to the collapse of the bridge over Black Sugarloaf Creek.

The road has been physically closed with large rocks and Brushy Road is closed from the intersection of Brushy Road and Priestleys Lane.  There is no alternative access.

An initial engineering inspection has been carried out and it is expected that a full assessment will be undertaken in the coming days to decide what are the appropriate repairs or if a replacement bridge is needed.  For further information please contact the Great Western Tiers Field Centre on 6701 2104.
