Visitors to Lake Augusta please be aware that we have recently discovered material in the camping area near the toilets that may contain asbestos. Testing of this material is currently underway.

The campground and toilets are safe and remain open, with a small area blocked off to public access. 

Please help us to reduce any risk to visitors by staying out of the restricted area. 

We are taking all appropriate steps to secure and remediate the area.
