As part of a trial for upcoming works at Lake Echo Power Station, Hydro Tasmania will be releasing a higher than normal flow along the Dee River from Lake Echo on the 11th & 12th of March.

During this time there will be increased water flow down the Dee River into Dee Lagoon. To ensure public safety, we are temporarily closing Lake Echo Road (between Mentmore Road and Dee Lagoon). Alternative access routes to Lake Echo and Dee Lagoon will remain open.

Any impacts from the increased flow will be monitored and assessed for future planning.
