Bronte Lagoon navigation markers

None

Marine and Safety Tasmania on behalf of Hydro Tasmania have recently installed new navigational aids in Woodwards Bay, which is situated at the southern end of Bronte Lagoon.

North, east and west cardinal marks have been installed to improve boating safety on the lagoon, and have been positioned to mark the submerged, shallow canal banks which extend north from the mouth of Woodwards Canal.  The photographs show the position of these marks relative to the shallow areas which boaters are encouraged to familiarise themselves with their location.
