The Central Highlands Council have recently completed an upgrade of the Lake Crescent car park. The parking area has been expanded, levelled and graded and signage has been installed to maximise use of the space. Lake Crescent has been very popular due to high lake levels and the trophy trout available. 

Camping is not permitted in the car park. Free camping is available at nearby Dago Point at Lake Sorell.
