Hydro Tasmania advise that they have placed 14 strings of research plates attached to buoys, clearly marked with tags, in Lake Echo this week.

These will remain in place for some time and should not pose a hazard to navigation.

Please be aware as you troll / travel on the lake and do not disturb the equipment.
